Step 1: Website flow
- On the web, go to the ibkr website and log in.
- Locate the Performance & Reports, select the Statements tab.
- Choose the Flex Queries
Step 2: Create the Active Flex Query
- Locate the Trade confirmation Flex query, click the plus button
- Enter a Query Name
- Choose the following sections in this order: Date/Time, Symbol, Asset Class, Currency, Buy/Sell, Price, Quantity, Amount, Commission, Tax → Click Save
- Leave all the defaults
- Click Continue & Save Changes
Step 3: Run the Active Flex Query
- On the same Flex Queries tab, click the run arrow
- Select the desired Period & CSV format
- Click run
Step 4: How to import ibkr trades:
- Go to the trading journal
- Select the downloaded file, choose the source as ibkr
- Click Import trades.
