Hey everyone! I built VoiceTerm, a source-available tool that is free for personal use. I am a software developer, but I also used Claude and Codex to help track down some particularly annoying bugs. Shoutout to Sol for helping fix a flickering issue that I could not figure out for the life of me. VoiceTerm adds a fast, low-latency voice interface directly to Codex CLI and Claude Code. It uses local Whisper speech-to-text, so your microphone recordings remain on your computer and no cloud
