- A few weeks ago I barely knew how to code, a tutorial or two, that's about it. Been building a website monitoring tool since then and finally feel okay sharing it. It checks websites for downtime, SSL expiry, and broken links, and when something breaks it tries to actually tell you why (DNS issue vs expired cert vs server error) instead of just "it's down." Learned a lot along the way, mostly the hard way. Spent a while chasing a bug where GitHub kept getting flagged as "
