I posted in r/pkm last week about capture and retrieval being two different problems. 6 comments, 0 upvotes, and one of them was worth more than the other five combined. Someone wrote that my second test needed a third condition: the answer has to carry you back to the original artifact. Otherwise natural language retrieval just swaps one failure for a nicer one. "I can't find it" becomes "I found something plausible", and the second is worse, because you stop looking. Th
