- I've always been obsessed with note taking apps. I was using Obsidian for a while and loved it, but the linear folder structure always bothered me. I knew where my notes were spatially in my head, but the app forced me into a list. So I thought, what if notes just lived on a canvas instead? That was the start of Passinote. I built it for myself first. Sticky notes for quick thoughts, A4 notes for longer writing, everything on a free canvas you can drag around and arrange however makes
