I built a Bitcoin-like chain whose canonical ledger is a GitHub README

I made CRUX. The chain lives in a git repo: blocks are JSONL, the README is the rendered ledger, and mining/submitting is a new GitHub issue or an inbox PR. The unusual part is the work function. One subset-sum knapsack per block, then the header still has to hash below an nBits target. Difficulty can rise without bound; the proof stays 8 bytes. ECDSA/secp256k1, UTXOs, 21M cap, 10-minute target spacing. I am the author. CRUX coins are worth nothing and always will be. Python 3.9+, stdlib only. G
