For a while now, my friends and I have been working on a side project called Maptasy. It’s essentially a mix between fantasy sports and a board game (like Risk or Catan) where you draft teams, defend borders, and capture new territories on a map based on real world football results. The problem we've run into because it mashes up two different genres (fantasy sports and board game territory conquest), I’ve had a hard time explaining the core concepts of the game to new players.
