I do freelance IT consulting, and a good chunk of my work is outreach and lead lists. Which meant, for way too long, scrolling through WhatsApp groups and Telegram channels and manually copy-pasting names and numbers into a spreadsheet like it's 2009. I tried a couple of the paid scraping tools out there and didn't love them either, felt like a lot of them automate things in ways that could get an account flagged.
